In the third quarter of 2024, the top five navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 87K in mid-July. However, there was a gradual decline toward the end of September, reaching approximately 67K. The app's weekly active users remained stable, hovering around 9.6M, despite a slight dip in early September.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic displayed an upward trend in downloads, hitting a high of 54.8K in late August. The number of active users also saw growth, peaking at over 3.3M in mid-August, before experiencing a slight decrease to about 2.98M by the end of September.
